The ‘400 Calorie Fix’ Method from the Rachael Ray Show
Counting Calories
Much like finding the right personal loan, the number of calories needed on a daily basis is determined by different factors such as your weight, height, age, and activity level. It differs with different people. There are some guidlines on how many calories a person should get per day.
400 Calorie Fix: Not Counting Calories, Controlling them!
How about Cassandra. She’s a busy mother of three who, like many of us, has a problem with her weight. At first, she said she was terrified of the prospect of the 400 Calorie Fix. However, after using the 400 Calorie Fix strategy, Cassandra said she has lost 6 pounds in just two days!
The authors of the 400 Calorie Fix book insist it isn’t a diet, but more like how to eat in more sensible portions, in 400 calorie blocks. Author and Prevention Magazine Editor-in-Chief Liz Vaccariello also dropped in on the Rachael Ray Show to explain how the 400 Calorie Fix formation works.
“The 400 Calorie Fix was inspired by a column where we showed people how to eat four 400 calorie meals a day,” she tells Rachael. “We show you how to eyeball foods, to read menus, so you’re not counting calories, you are controlling it. It’s the easiest weight loss solution ever because it’s one simple rule: you learn to see the world through a 400-calorie lens.”
Let’s Get Real
It seems just about every weight loss program requires you eat their food which, as many of you would agree, are not the most preferred foods out there. Starving yourself or massive amounts of pills is a pain, and more to point, counterproductive. People have had to apply for a personal loan just to meet most weight loss program standards. With the 400 Calorie Fix, you still can eat foods that you enjoy.
“We came up with that amount because registered dietitians say that’s the amount in a meal that you’re going to remain satisfied, you’re not going to get cravings,” said Vaccariello. “You get a variety of tastes and textures and you’re going to get enough disease-fighting nutrients so you stay healthy.”
The 400 Calorie Fix teaches the reader how to effectively read menus, identify high-calorie red flags and look out for sneaky calories in dressed-up healthy foods. The bottom line is that you know exactly what you’re eating.
